Friday lookback at some of the things we did together this week.
- Tons of great music from the 80’s, 90’s & more (including some Christmas music)
- Donner and Blitzen were originally called Dunder and Blixem, the Dutch words for “thunder and lightning
- 90-percent of pet owners will change Holiday plans so their pets won’t be home alone.
- A 75-year-old woman attempted to smuggle brass knuckles through airport security in Germany inside a hidden compartment of her purse. Have you flown lately? Can you blame her, it’s crazy up there!
- In the UK a team of crooks attempted to break into an ATM by using a blow torch to cut into the machine. It did the job, but it also caught the money on fire. They left empty-handed
- A person swallows approximately 295 times while eating dinner. Who had to count people swallowing?
- Mistletoe translates to “dung on a stick.” The original name for mistletoe was mistaltan. Mistal comes from the Anglo Saxon word for “dung” and tan means “stick.” Sounds romantic.
As always, have a great weekend and let’s do it again next week. Thanks for listening!
