When I was a kid 2025 was a LIFETIME away, but here it is! I thought I would see what was going on in 1925. Here’s a few things:
- The Charleston was the hottest dance craze
- Flagpole sitting was a thing. Yes, people sat on flagpoles.
- The Mount Rushmore Monument was proposed in August of 1925.
- The U.S. population was 115.8-million and there was about 17-million cars on the road. By the way, today there’s around 335-million people in the U.S. and over 300-million cars.
- Celebs born in 1925: Dick Van Dyke, Johnny Carson, Robert F. Kennedy Sr, Doris Roberts, Paul Newman and B.B. King.
We just keep going for the ride because this rock we’re living on just keeps spinning. As always, thanks for listening!
