Where were you?

If you around, you know exactly where you were when the news broke. Myself, I was doing my radio show (B95) and was talking on the air. Our on-air studio looked into the news room and we had TV monitors and they all showed one of the Twin Towers in New York City on fire. I was mentioning that it looked like a plane had hit it. At that moment another plane hit the other Twin Tower and I knew, this was no accident. I’ve rarely been unable to speak on the air, but for a brief moment, I didn’t know how to verbalize what I had just witnessed. I collected my thoughts and shared them with the listeners. I played one song, made the decision to stop the music and we went to straight national news. I pray none of us have to live through that again. Be sure to take a minute and remember the thousands that were lost on that day.
