Double Sunrise Happens Tomorrow Morning

The next big sky moment in 2025 happens tomorrow! Tell your friends on the northeast coast to watch for it!
The partial solar eclipse happens tomorrow at sunrise. They call it a “double sunrise” because you see two separate “horns” of the sun rising up. However, it won’t be all that visible in most of the U.S.
NASA tells us that the partial solar eclipse will be visible early Saturday (March 29th) from the Washington, DC area to eastern Canada with Maine getting the best view.
This is another one of those times when viewers are warned to wear protective glasses when viewing the eclipse. If you aren’t in prime viewing areas or have to miss this one, the next partial eclipse in North America will happen in August 2026.
