Important Info for Travelers!

Happy New Year everyone! As I sit here planning my winter vacation, something just occurred to me. There is something very important happening this year that has been in the works for many years. The government had postponed the implementation of the Real ID law pertaining to aircraft, because of the pandemic. As of May 7, 2025, you must have a Real ID in order to board a domestic flight here in the United States. Up until now, you have been able to use a standard drivers license to board your flight. Considering there could be extended wait times to receive your Real ID (if you don’t already have one) you should apply for yours as soon as possible if you plan on flying this year.
