It’s Getting a Bit Thin Up There!

When I was a kid, my hair was so thick, the stylist would have to use thinning shears. If only I had a dollar for every time I heard, “You’ll never have to worry about a lack of hair!”
Um, yeah.
My first thought is how the passing of time can be so cruel. I’m getting older. But is time the real enemy here? Or is it genetics? My mother, father, and brother all have thick hair. My grandparents have/had reasonably thick hair. Wait a second……..
Was I adopted!? Nope. Am I the mailman’s kid!? No.
My mom informed me that her biological father had thinning hair. I never met him. My mom barely even knew the guy. I guess now I know who to blame. My wife told me it doesn’t matter what my hair looks like, she still loves me. That was reassuring. I always assumed she only loved me for my GQ looks. 😜
